“Stayed here for a weekend. It’s a pleasant place to spend quality time with family in Long Beach. The breakfast and staff were great, and the location is quiet and relaxing. The property does show some age, but it adds to its character.”

“What a gem, from the very warm reception to the GREAT mattress, very clean and well-appointed room. A goodie-basket for the dog. Right next to the little downtown of Long Beach, which is adorable and not trying to be it's older, hipper sister Astoria. Definitely our place to stay when we come back. ”

“The staff were all so friendly and accommodating to our stay: from Cynthia who answered the phone when I had some booking questions and set the room up special for our labradoodle to feel at home, to Roger who greeted us at our arrival and showed us around the property so that we could enjoy the outdoor fire pit and happily allowed a late check-out, to Patti who cheerfully cleaned before and after us! We had an awesome stay and will be back for sure! ”

“Friendly staff especially the breakfast room attendant. Hotel well maintained. Walking distance to almost anything. Only word of caution is this is a VERY pet friendly hotel. They tend to put those traveling with pets on the right side of the first floor. Can you guess where we stayed? Had to sleep with window open all night. Very heavy pet smell. We own a dog but this was a bit much. Next time we are back, we will request a room anywhere else.”

“Super cute, clean, and cozy place! Comfortably housed 4 adults, 2 kiddos, a baby and a big dog. Fully functional kitchen was amazing for our Thanksgiving dinner. Surprisingly quiet for being on the main road. Easy check-in/out. The kids loved it and we would definitely stay again!”

“Owner/host gave us tour and recommendations for dinner that were close by. Historic building that has been lovingly restored and includes modern amenities and bathrooms. Has a lot of extra touches like cookies and coffee in entry, bathrobes, room darkening shades, great breakfast.”
